Foundation makes my eyes look l'il fake..does it mean that foundation is not meant for me?

i dont have any serious dark circles or any other skin issue..i'm blessed with a normal clear skin but i love using it because it gives my face a polished look...dont say that i might be putting too much of it because i use the tinniest bit i can use but still that fakeness..
